Privacy policy

InMagic (“we”) is operated by Magic Technology, Corp. This policy explains what we collect when you use app.inmagic.ai, why, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time link.
- When you connect Instagram, with your approval on Instagram’s own screen: your profile (username, bio, follower count, account type), your latest 50 posts with their captions, like and comment counts, and 30 days of account insights such as reach and audience age, gender and location.
- What you create in InMagic: edits to your report, captions you generate, your media kit and avatars.
- Billing details are collected and held by Stripe; we receive your plan and payment status, never your card number.
- How the app is used: pages you open, where on a page you click, and steps like connecting Instagram or choosing a plan, linked to an internal account number (not your email) and your approximate country. This tells us what to improve. It never includes your report, captions, bio or Instagram handle, and nothing is stored on your device for it.
What we never do
- We never post, comment, like, send messages or run ads on your behalf, and we don’t ask for permission to.
- Nothing you connect is used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.
- We don’t sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Raw Instagram data is deleted 30 days after we fetch it.
- Your report and the things you created stay until you delete your account.
- Your Instagram access token is encrypted and deleted the moment you disconnect.
Who processes data for us
Meta (Instagram data), our AI model provider (writing your report), our image model provider (avatars, only when you ask), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), PostHog (product analytics) and our hosting and database providers. Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.
Your choices
- Export: Settings, Export my data, gives you one JSON file of your report and media kit.
- Disconnect Instagram or delete your account in Settings. Each takes one confirmation and finishes right away.
- You can also remove InMagic from Instagram’s settings; we then delete your data within 24 hours. See data deletion.
Children
InMagic is not for anyone under 13, matching Instagram’s own rule.
